1. Scope

This policy sets out how anyone (member or not) who believes that content published on Story Circle infringes a copyright, personality right or other right can report it. The Company is a hosting provider under Turkish Law No. 5651 and removes unlawful content it becomes aware of under this policy.

2. Reporting copyright infringement

If you own the rights in a work or are authorised to act on behalf of the owner, you can notify us under Additional Article 4 of FSEK. Your notice should include:

  • Your full name (or company name) and contact details where we can reach you.
  • The work you believe is infringed and information showing your right in it.
  • Where the content you believe infringes is located on Story Circle (book and chapter title or link).
  • Your statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the right holder or authorised.

You can send the notice through the Report → Copyright option in the app or via Profile → Settings → Send feedback.

3. Review of the notice

  • After receiving the notice we review the content. If the infringement is evident, the content is removed within the period set by law and at the latest within three days.
  • The user who shared the content is notified of the removal and the reason; the notifier's contact details are not shared with the user unless there is a legal obligation.
  • If the user believes the content does not infringe, they can object with reasons. If the objection is found justified, the content may be republished.
  • Legal responsibility for false or bad-faith notices lies with the notifier.

4. Personality rights and other unlawful content

People who believe their personality rights have been violated can request removal of the content by exercising their rights under Law No. 5651. Applications are made through the same channels and concluded within the periods set by law. Decisions of competent authorities are applied immediately.

5. Repeated infringement

The accounts of users whose content is removed more than once for copyright infringement may be suspended or closed under the enforcement measures in the Community Guidelines.
